The "Youth Information 2.0" conference offered a European platform for the exchange of European Youth Information in the context of online-services and national youth portals. The spreading of information over all information-channels has to be advanced and promoted, in particular over these channels that are mostly used by young people. The possibilities offered by Web 2.0 are more and more taken up from young people and offer very good possibilities for participation in information brokering.

Experts with various backgrounds discussed about the challenges and possibilities of bringing together the two issues. That way national youth portals can develop into participative information portals for young people created by young people.
